Ultrafine natural fibres primarily include animal fibres (such as spider silk, silk, leather, and animal fur) and plant fibres; ultrafine synthetic fibres primarily include polyester, polyamide, polyacrylonitrile, polypropylene, polytetrafluoroethylene, and glass fibres. Within the industry, the two most widely produced ultrafine fibres are polyester and polyamide.
