Mop Use Management System

Purpose

standardize the use of mops and management processes, maintain clean tool hygiene, to avoid cross-pollution, to protect the quality of environmental health and the use of safety, to extend the service life of the tool.

Classification and Labeling of Mops

Classification of mops according to the area of use: “office mop”, “bathroom mop”, “corridor mop”, “kitchen mop”, and labels of corresponding areas are affixed. “Kitchen mop”, respectively paste the corresponding regional label, prohibit cross-regional mixing. Classified according to cleaning function: differentiate between “ordinary cleaning mop” and “disinfecting mop”. Disinfecting mop needs to be additionally labeled with the words “special disinfecting”, and is only used in areas with higher hygiene requirements (such as the following). It is only used in areas with high hygiene requirements (e.g. bathroom, kitchen).

Standard of use

Check the status of the mop before use, make sure the mop head is not broken, no odor, the pole is firm, and report for repair or replacement in time when abnormal. Follow the principle of “from inside to outside, from dry to wet” when cleaning to avoid sewage residue; disinfectant mops need to be soaked in special disinfectant (according to the ratio requirements) before use, and use it again after the action time reaches the standard. Avoid using the mop to clean sharp foreign objects (such as broken glass, nails) to prevent damage to the head of the mop or cause potential safety hazards. Clean the mop immediately after use, and prohibit stacking dirty mops for a long time.

Cleaning and maintenance

Ordinary mop: rinse with water after use until no stains, wring out the water; disinfectant mop needs to be rinsed with water first, then soaked in disinfectant for 10-15 minutes, and finally wrung out. Regular maintenance: check the mop head every week and replace it in time when it is out of line or worn out; if the mop rod is loose, tighten it in time or report it for repair.

Storage requirements

set up a special mop storage area, divided into different areas corresponding to the storage of various types of mops, to avoid contact with the ground, can use hooks hanging or special bracket placed. The storage area should be ventilated and dry to prevent the mop from mold and odor; it is prohibited to pile up the mop in the food storage area, near the desk surface and other areas.

The division of responsibility

users: responsible for the use of norms, cleaning mop, found abnormal timely feedback. Cleaning management department (or administrative department): regularly check the status of the mop, storage, the organization of tool replacement and maintenance, and carry out a monthly check of the use of norms.
