How to properly use the mop colour labels ?

In mop usage, colour-coded labels are an important tool for standardising cleaning procedures, with different colours corresponding to specific areas.

Red is primarily used in high-contamination areas such as bathrooms and sewage zones, clearly marked to prevent cross-contamination;

Blue is suitable for corridors, offices, and other general non-clean areas, used for routine cleaning;

Green is targeted at food processing areas, kitchens, and other hygiene-sensitive zones to reduce food safety risks;

Yellow is commonly used in medical potential contamination zones or hazardous areas, meeting medical-grade cleaning standards;

White is used in laboratories, precision instrument rooms, and other areas with extremely high cleanliness requirements to prevent colour fading and contamination.

When using colour labels, ensure they are clearly positioned, such as on the top of the mop handle or the edge of the mop head. They should be accompanied by dedicated storage areas and area diagrams for easy identification and recall. Worn or faded labels should be regularly inspected and replaced to ensure effective differentiation.

In special scenarios, colour differentiation may be more detailed. In medical facilities, orange may be used to mark infectious disease zones, adhering to relevant disinfection standards; in food factories, green is strongly associated with food contact areas and must be coordinated with disinfection procedures; in household use, red can be simplified for bathrooms and blue for living rooms and bedrooms to prevent bacterial spread.
