Kitchen Greasy Floors — Two-Step Method: “Dry Mop for Dust + Wet Mop for Grease”
Pain Point:
Grease and rice grains on kitchen floors. Direct wet mopping spreads grease, making floors dirtier.
Technique:
1. Use a dry mop (or dry mop mode) to sweep in one direction, removing dust and rice grains (to prevent sticking during wet mopping).
Dip the mop head in a solution of “warm water + 1 tablespoon white vinegar” (vinegar breaks down grease), focusing on greasy areas. Rinse the mop head with clean water afterward, then mop once more with clean water to remove residue.
For heavily greasy areas like under the stove or refrigerator base, let the mop head sit on the grease for 3 seconds before gently wiping.
Tip:
Microfiber mop heads absorb grease 3 times more effectively than cotton ones. Prioritize these for kitchen cleaning to reduce detergent usage.
