What is the difference between cut-end and loop end mops?

Cut-end mops and loop-end mops refer to two different styles of mop heads, each with unique characteristics and advantages:

Cut-end mops: Cut-end mops, also known as string mops, have their yarn cut into individual yarn bundles, which are loosely distributed. Compared to loop-end mops, the yarn in cut-end mops is more prone to wear and tangling. Cut-end mops are typically more affordable and are commonly used for daily cleaning tasks in residential environments or light-duty commercial cleaning.

Loop-end mop: In a loop-end mop, the yarn is looped and sewn into the mop head. This design makes the mop head more durable and extends its lifespan compared to a cut-end mop. The looped ends prevent yarn from falling out or tangling, thereby enhancing cleaning performance and prolonging the mop's lifespan. Loop-end mops typically have stronger water absorption capabilities and are suitable for heavy-duty cleaning tasks in commercial and industrial environments.

In summary, cut-end mops are more cost-effective but may not be as durable or efficient as loop-end mops. Loop-end mops are more durable, have a longer service life, and are suitable for more demanding cleaning applications. The choice between cut-end and loop-end mops will depend on specific cleaning requirements and budget considerations.
