When cleaning large rooms, freshly mopped areas get dirty again immediately, making repeated mopping inefficient
Technique:
Start from the innermost part of the room (furthest from the door) and mop “backwards” (so the cleaned floor stays behind you). Follow the order: inside-outside, left-right.
If the room is too large, divide it into 3 sections. After mopping the first section, place a clean old towel along the section's edge (step on the towel when moving into the next section) to avoid stepping on already cleaned areas.
After completing all sections, finish by dragging from the doorway outward once to ensure no missed spots.
Tip:
Wear soft-soled slippers while mopping (soles free of dust) to further reduce the risk of re-soiling.
