The head of a flat mop decides which parts of the floor it can reach. A bar-shaped head lays flat and gets the open floor, but it stops at the skirting and cannot turn far enough to slide under a bed frame or a wardrobe. The X-frame on this mop spreads into a butterfly shape, and the joint above it turns through a full circle, so the pad can be laid against an edge or pushed sideways into a gap.
Water is squeezed out by pulling a collar up the pole rather than by hand, and the same pad is used for a dry electrostatic pass before the wet one.

Butterfly X-frame reaches the edges
The head spreads into a 36 cm X rather than a straight bar, so the pad presses flat against the floor and into corners and along skirting where a straight head leaves a strip behind.
360° rotating joint
The joint above the frame turns through a full circle. The head swings sideways to pass under beds, wardrobes and other low furniture without the handle having to be lifted or the mop angled awkwardly.
Pull-up squeeze wringer
Pull the collar up the pole and the two halves of the frame close on the pad, pressing the water out. It is an imitation handscrew action, so the wringing is done by the frame and the wet pad is never handled.
Electrostatic dry pass first
The fibre pad picks up hair, dust and fine debris on a dry pass before any water goes down. Oily hair and floor debris come away with the pad instead of being pushed around the room.
Dries without a watermark
Water is released evenly across the pad rather than in a single wet line, so sealed hard floors dry without streaks or the film a soaked string mop leaves behind.
Replaceable washable pad
The pad lifts off the frame, is machine washable, and is ordered as a separate replacement part, so a worn pad does not retire the frame or the pole.

Why Choose This Butterfly Flat Mop
- It cleans the edges. The X-frame presses flat into corners and along skirting, which is the strip a straight-headed flat mop leaves behind.
